Tattoo update

18 Jul

So my new tattoo is looking really good. I’ve been really good about washing it three times a day with anti-bacterial soap and then applying a light layer of cocoa butter.  Kurt, my tattoo artist, suggested cocoa butter rather than A&D or Aquaphor which is a really good thing because I’m a huge fan of Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula products.  I’ve got tons of their products at home and now have another excuse to use them.

My tattoo has not gotten scabby or ugly at all.  It’s not red around the edges anymore and all the swelling has gone down so I’m happy that the healing seems to be progressing well.
